€30,000 in Capital Funding Secured for Local Family Resource Centres

I was delighted to receive confirmation from Minister Foley this week about an allocation of €1.36 million for Family Resource Centres (FRCs) nationwide, including €30,000 for local FRCs in Dublin North West.

Each FRC across the country will receive €10,000 each to support locally identified capital, premises, equipment, ICT and infrastructure priorities.

This funding will make a real difference to the many centres nationwide and locally to Finglas, Ballymun and Artane-Coolock.

FRCs do a great deal of work on the ground to identify needs and engage with our communities and support families and children every day. This funding will allow for each centre to individually invest €10,000, where it matters most, where they see fit, as it will support a broad range of capital and once-off expenditure
