€350M in funding approved for the delivery of almost 650 homes in North Dublin

Paul McAuliffe, Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin North West has welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Housing, James Browne to approve €350m to deliver 647 new homes across sites in Ballymun, Finglas, Whitehall and Ballybough.

Commenting on this morning’s announcement, Deputy McAuliffe said: “I welcome this news which will provide much needed housing in our area. These sites had previously been delayed but the new single-stage approval process has let the council cut through red tape and accelerate delivery.”

The funding for projects confirmed by the Minister received single-stage approval - the process which aims to ramp up the delivery of new homes through local authorities by allowing them to move quickly from approval to construction.
