Bus Connects in Dublin 9 and 11

5th November 2025 - Yesterday, after 3 weeks of emails and calls about the new sus services in our area, I tabled a Topical Issue on the roll out of Phase 7 of Bus Connects in Finglas West, South, East and Glasnevin. Discussing the issue of Bus Connects Phase 7 in the Dáil for a Topical Issue debate. Along with the issues of the new routes, on the F2, F3, 23, 24 we have a less frequent and a less reliable service. More people are waiting longer and often report buses full when a bus does arrive. I don't expect the Department to be involved in the day-to-day operation of buses at a local level, but I wanted to ensure the NTA and Dublin Bus, who are responsible, to realise the level of complaint I have been receiving and at the very least I want them to address the reduced service which commuters are now being offered.
