Gaelic Players' Association (GPA) discuss inter-county player priorities with Fianna Fáil Parliamentary Party

This week, I was delighted to host the Gaelic Players' Association (GPA) in Leinster House for a Parliamentary Party briefing on the economic and social impact of our inter-county players.
As supporters we get to enjoy the highs and lows of inter-county gaelic games but the reality for our amateur inter-county players is a demanding one balancing work, college and the commitment of senior county training and games, all as amateur players.
It was great to hear directly from players Carla Rowe and Shane Walsh on the challenges they face and from the GPA CEO, Tom Parsons, and Equality, Diversity, Leadership Coach Equality (EDI) Manager, Gemma Begley, on value players bring to their clubs, counties and communities.
