Fingal Co. Co. publish draft Dunsink Area Plan

Fingal County Council has proposed an Urban Area Plan for Dunsink Lands. To date I and other Finglas TDs have not been briefed by Fingal on these plans. We have collectively sought an urgent briefing from Fingal.

A Strategic Environmental Assessment and an Appropriate Assessment is required to be carried out for the plan.

A draft of the proposed Urban Area Plan, the Strategic Environmental Assessment Environmental Report, the Natura Impact Report and accompanying documents are available to view during normal opening hours - Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday 9am to 4.30pm - until the 31st July at:

• Fingal County Council Offices, County Hall, Main Street, Swords.

• Fingal County Council Civic Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

• Fingal Branch Libraries during normal opening hours.

Submissions may be made about the Draft Urban Area until 5pm on Friday 31st of July, either:

• Online at https://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse

• Via post to: Senior Executive Officer, Planning and Development Department, Fingal County Council, County Hall, Main St., Swords, Co. Dublin, K67X8Y2.

Submissions can only be made by writing or online, not both and cannot be accepted via email. It should state your name, address and where relevant, the body or organisation represented.
